On behalf of CAG of India, the Accountant
General (AG), J&K conducts audit in relation to Accounts of :-

Some of the offices/Autonomous Bodies
of the Union Government as are not audited by any other audit office of C.A.G.
2) About 4250 State Govt.
Department / Offices / Units inclusive of those located outside State.
3) About 354 public commercial
enterprises / Government companies and statutory Corporations controlled by the
Union and State Governments. We are also sole auditors of J&K Financial Corporation
& J&K State Road Transport Corporation.
4) Around 249 non-commercial
autonomous bodies and authorities controlled by the Union or State revenues.
